It's been over a month since my last post. Since then my health has been pretty stable for lack of a better term. My health did allow me to continue my plans with going to LONDON in October. It was absolutely great! I cannot wait to go back.
This last TTP crisis seems to be subsiding, but I have had a few side effects. I keep getting thrush in my mouth, I had a boil on my leg, and there are days when I am just extremely fatigued. I don't know if these are side effects of the Rituxan or TTP taking it's course on my body. Two weeks ago I had a scare becaues my LDH had elevated higher than it had in a long time and my platelets had falled about 30,000. However, the next day I was tested and my platelets had climbed back into their normal range. I am assuming my LDH is fine since my Hematologist didn't call back with any life altering news.
I'm still battling the weight. I have climbed to 190 and it seems like the more I try to fight it, the more I crave and the more I gain. Today I started the Extreme Fat Smash again. I did it earlier this year and lost about 12 lbs. I am going to stay on it for a while this time because I have at least 40 lbs to lose.
